What types of subscriptions are available?

backgroundchecks.com offers a variety of subscription options, starting with a month-to-month option that requires no contractual commitment and only bills you each month with the option to cancel at any time. The National Criminal Annual Subscription is the best value, offering the biggest savings overall. You will receive the same monthly monitoring but at a discount compared to the month-to-month plan because you pre-pay for an entire year of monitoring. To ensure uninterrupted service, at the end of each subscription period, each subscription option will be automatically renewed and your card with be charged or debited at the then-current membership fee for our month-to-month service.

How can I cancel my subscription?

To cancel your subscription and the end of its current period, log in to your account and in the subscription section click on "cancel" for the specific subscription that you want to stop.

What happens if I cancel my subscription before my contract has expired?

Upon cancellation, the subscription will run to the end of the subscription period and you will continue to receive the benefits of our monitoring service. The subscription will not be pro-rated or refunded.
