Virginia Executive Branch State Agencies Must Implement E-Verify by June 1, 2011

Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell has officially ordered all executive branch state agencies to implement the E-Verify system for all new hires by June 1, 2011.

House Bill 737, signed by the 2010 General Assembly, requires all state agencies to use E-Verify by December 1, 2012. This new order requires implementation a full 18 months ahead of schedule.
